Back to updates

December 6, 2011
We got an email from someone in the ward about free tickets to a play, so we went. It was a musical called "Scrooge" based on "The Christmas Carol" and it was done in a little playhouse about 20 minutes from here. I thought it was such a fun little place! The stage was in the middle of the room, and there were chairs on all sides of it. The characters came and went from all of the 4 corners of the room. It almost felt like we were in the middle of their cute little town.
The view from our seats.
Waiting for the play to start. Our family...awwwwww... We didn't get to finish watching the whole play...it didn't start until 7:30, and it lasted more than two hours. Needless to say, we had some pretty tired kids by the time intermission rolled around. On our way out the doors, a little girl (probably about 5 years old) stopped us and said, "You know, there's still more left." So sweet. This was a fun outing for us, and I think even the girls enjoyed the dancing, singing, moving people a little bit.
