So I've decided to make crib bedding...I made this decision for a few reasons:
1. All the crib bedding I've found so far that I love costs a zillion dollars
2. I thought it would be fun to have something unique
3. I will have absolutely nothing to do this summer besides lounge around by the pool, and I need something to occupy the cloudy days and days when I'm too sunburnt to take any more rays.
This is the color pallet I'm thinking about...
I might add a little pink if we find out that we're having a girl, but I'm definitely adding some pattern. I really like the idea of a jungle...I love monkeys lions and think it would be really cute in a baby's room. Of course, these are just fore thoughts because I still have a lot of time to think about it and plan it, but I had some free time so I hit the fabric store. These are the two fabrics I found that I liked...
If anyone has an opinion about one or the other, I'd love to hear it!

Love the color pallet--and the animals. It is an ambitious undertaking, but that's what nesting is all about. You just go ahead and feather it up all you like. Fun, fun!! Looking forward to Tuesday's news. Love you, Mom
P.S. I think I like the top one for a boy and the bottom one's pattern seems a little more delicate for a little girl, but I can't make out the words. Do either of them have pink? Cute stuff!
They look adorable- just right for Baby Duke. I like the jungle theme too.
The fabrics are so cute! I'm a fan of the top jungle fabric.
You're having a girl! Yay! I don't think girls rooms HAVE to have pink. It will be cute with your choices!
